In 2001 Mr. Mattar Mubarak Al Mansouri & Late Mr. Hamad Rashed Al Khaili, U.A.E. based local entrepreneurs started an Indian Restaurant that served Authentic Indian Food. They love Indian Culture and Indian Food. As a part of their profession, when they travelled around the world they visited, experienced and learned more about the Indian cuisine. They realized the need to modify the cuisine for the local taste but maintain the authenticity and richness of Indian Cuisine.
They born and brought up in the city of Al Ain and decided to blend two cultures, the U.A.E. hospitality with Indian Cuisine. Thus the Indian Curry Restaurant Concept was born.
The concept of serving fresh Authentic Indian Cuisine, especially the Tandoor Oven cooking (food cooked in big clay oven using charcoal) where the customers can see the art of Tandoor cooking while waiting for their dishes being prepared, proved to be successful that Indian Curry Restaurant is looking at expanding to other locations.
